Progress?

My new roommate arrived last night. meh.
She is friendly enough of course but for some minor details... she's asking too many questions about Taekwondo. I need to be a bit more clear in my responses to this I think!
Really though she's alright. It's just a matter of getting used to sharing my living space! Huge adjustment for me. But i'm working on it.

Anyway speaking of taekwondo...
last night there were some boards laying around because I guess the earlier class had been breaking them. So while Hannah was changing I picked one up and was looking at it and so he took it and held it and told me to punch it. I was like, what? No, I'll hurt myself! But he kept saying, no just do it. So I went for it and shattered it! Oh yeah! I didn't even scratch my hand. It was kind of red but not too bad. He said I also hurt his hand so I said, Miyanhamnida! lol.
So tonight they invited us to eat dinner with them at 6 because as Hannah said, I usually eat alone and am very lonely. So we are buying them dinner after work and will eat together! I'm excited.

I feel like perhaps I should have planned to take my roommate out for dinner today..but frankly this is more important. It won't take long anyway.
Luckily all my co-workers understand my feelings about TKD so without their help she won't be able to join, since they don't speak english there. So I think i'm safe.

Anyway, I am adjusting to the roommate thing. I really need to get wireless here so I can call people on skype. I don't want to do that with her in the same room! I don't like people listening to my conversations. Man, I miss living alone :(

But at least today will be a good day! I hope!

So, she's a smoker who wears shoes in the house! How tacky!! Seriously, I would think the veranda with the windows OPEN would be a better place than the laundry room with the door closed. Better ventilation. Smoke has a way of seeping everywhere, thus making for a "stinky apartement". Stay firm, very firm on the TKD issue! Mom
